Cheers Pocat, loved the video of The Jam was moving! I had never seen that. I am looking forward to extended version too. Overall, the whole album has a great vibe! A truly unique sound that predates Let's Dance and the Duran Duran productions!

I did like it when it came out, the only reservation I remembered having was "Backfired" which was not one of my favorites. My favorite track from this album is "The Jam Was Moving" so I'm looking forward to hearing the extended version. I agree with you, Charles, that "Now I Know You Know" is really great, and one of CHIC's greatest slow songs. This album fared a lot better in the charts in both the UK #6 and Sweden #7 than in the US #28 :

Great news. I bought this in 1982 on vinyl for £1.99 ( without the poster!). It sounded really alien against the changing uk music scene in 81. At the time the album was slated and I remember feeling disappointed that the world' s most sexiest woman and the cool guys of CHIC made such a 'weird ' album. Fast forward 30 odd years this album sounds fresh and intriguing. I've been listening to "now I know you know" alot recently and it's one of the classiest CHIC songs ever! So I've pre-ordered the Cd despite the fact I have the album on vinyl and digital! Hummm maybe I should get out more!
